Trips generally depart from San Jose, but other arrangements can be made.

Detailed Itinerary

Depart from San Jose via Nature Air (Costa Rica's carbon neutral airline) for Drake Bay or Palmar Sur. If you fly into Palmar, you will take a boat to your hotel and pass thru the scenic Sierpe - Terraba mangroves. If you fly directly into Drake, a representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Lunch will be served and the rest of afternoon is unscheduled. Feel free to relax or explore the area on a self guided hike. Meals: lunch and dinner

Overnight at your choice of hotel

Drake BayDay 2:

Depart after breakfast for your choice of full day tour*. Return to the hotel in the mid to late afternoon. There is time to relax before dinner. Optional night tour departs from your hotel at 7 pm.  Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Overnight at your choice of hotel 

TapirDay 3:

Depart after breakfast for your choice of full day tour*. Return to the hotel in the mid to late afternoon. The afternoon is unscheduled.  Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

HeliconiaDay 4:

Depart early or mid-morning  for San Jose via flight or by land for another destination.  Meals: Breakfast
