Get Me There & Around in Puerto Viejo
How Do I Get Around When in Town?
Puerto Viejo is one of the most accessible beach towns and as a bonus, it’s totally flat! Renting bikes is without a doubt the most fun way to get around, but sometimes you just don't want to peddle around. With that in mind, the alternative is scooters. Both of these options are easily available to rent around town.
Walking is a great method to get around town, but to get to some of the further away
beaches, other modes of transport are recommended: bike, scooter, car. Public buses run from Puerto Viejo to Manzanillo on a limited schedule. If you have a car, then you are completely set for any long or short road trip, on your own timetable!
