Sailing is a spectacular way to spend a day or an evening. Add snorkeling, gourmet food, secluded beaches and wildlife, and well... it sounds like a dream come true. 

Sunset cruises and full moon sailing tours are available too! Or rent a sailing yacht for your own private party or surf expedition.

Where to Do It?

Northern Pacific and Nicoya Peninsula (Guanacaste Area)

From the northern most beaches like Playa Coco and Ocotal to Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo and Samara, sailing day tours are available. Most include snorkeling options and some offer full moon and sunset sailing cruises.

Central Pacific

From towns like Manuel Antonio, Quepos and Jaco, catamaran cruises allow you to explore the coastline and see lots of marine life. Day tours to nearby islands where white sanded beaches and crystal clear waters await are a fantastic way to spend the day. Tours available from San Jose too!  Contact us to make a reservation.

South Pacific

Sailing is not hugely popular in the south Pacific, but there is a brand new catamaran cruise opening in December 2009 in Drake Bay. This tour will cruise out to Cano Island for diving and snorkeling tours, offer day tours to Corcovado National Park  and offer sunset cruises from the Drake Bay area. These day tours are also available from Sierpe.
